Oxford & Cambridge Business Alumni of Southern Africa (OCBASA)

Objective

The Oxford & Cambridge Business Alumni of South Africa is an organisation established to provide a communication and networking forum for graduates of the two Universities in South Africa who are involved in business (in its broadest sense) in South Africa.

The objective of the organisation is to actively promote activities and events of interest to the local membership base. The core of the events programme is a regular dinner/cocktail reception to which prominent speakers will be invited (the speakers will be from the highest echelons of South Africa's business and political communities and will not necessarily be graduates of the University).

The OCBASA Trust

History

OCBASA was formed out of the coming together of the Southern African (OCBASA) chapter of the Oxford Business Alumni (OBA) and the South African Friends of Cambridge University (SAFCU). SAFCU retains an independent existence with a different, more academically orientated mandate than the OCBASA.
