Sponsorship

The Oxford Business Alumni consists of a unique mix of leading players in South Africa's business, legal, academic, political and arts communities. The membership base is spread across the country (although mainly concentrated in Johannesburg and Cape Town) and spans the whole age spectrum.

The Oxford Business Alumni has been specifically constituted to create a professional, vibrant and powerful environment for members to meet and network and be exposed to some of the leading figures in the country. As such, it requires a high degree of organisation and energy – all of which requires funding. To that end, it has been decided to maintain membership fees at a low level and to fund the organisation primarily through sponsorship.

In terms of an ability to communicate one's brand image, there can surely be few better concentrations of business persons and few better brand images to be associated with than that of Oxford University.

The Oxford Business Alumni of South Africa is currently negotiating sponsorship for the organisation at several levels.

Sponsorship Levels

Gold Sponsors have their brand images prominently displayed on marketing materials put out by the OCBASA (mailed and electronically delivered and including the website). Gold sponsors are entitled to invite 4 guests per event and to have one of those guests on the speaker's table at dinner events. It is anticipated that there will be 6 Gold Sponsors and that each Gold Sponsorship will be for a term of one year.

Silver Sponsors also have their logos displayed on marketing materials put out by the OCBASA, though less prominently than those of gold sponsors. Gold sponsors are entitled to invite 3 guests per event and to have one of those guests on the speaker's table at dinner events. It is anticipated that there will be 8 Silver Sponsors and that each Silver Sponsorship will be for a term of one year.

Event Sponsors sponsor specific events and have naming rights for that specific event alongside the overall Naming Sponsor. The benefits attached to event sponsorships will differ from event to event and the nature of the sponsorship but the principle is that Event Sponsors have their brand image displayed at the event they have sponsored.
